On December 14, 2015, the Sixth Congress of China Furniture Association was held at Beijing China Hotel. On the meeting, leaders from the SASAC, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Light Industry Federation and the China Furniture Association had come to speak, giving their ideas and guidance on the status and future of furniture industry. At the same time, the General Assembly also elected the sixth Council of the Council, and submitted the 13th Five-Year Plan of furniture industry.

Mr. Li Chihua, President of the Famous Yopye Furniture Group Co., Ltd. of Guangdong, attended the conference. The ViewSonic Group was selected as the vice chairman of the sixth Council of the China Furniture Association.

Mr. Zhu Changling, Chairman of China Furniture Association, delivered a job report on behalf of the Fifth Council. The report generalized the work of the China Furniture Association in the past five years on 10 aspects relating industry situation, transformation and upgrading, provision of services, standardization of work, scientific and technological innovation, exhibition, industrial cluster, personnel training, international cooperation, Self-construction and other,  the meeting also voted through the Financial Report and the newly revised " Charter of China Furniture Association "; and by way of single candidate selection, had elected the candidates for director, executive director, vice chairman and chairman of the sixth Council, Mr. Zhu Changling was re-election as chairman of China Furniture Association.

Subsequently, leaders of the SASAC, Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Light Industry Federation etc. also came to speak, giving their ideas on the development of China's furniture industry.

After that, the General Assembly has also studied the furniture industry development of next five years, and had elected members of the sixth Council of the Council. Under the ‘New Normal’ economy background, China furniture industry shall always step toward a better future.
